As you can see, Huawei is updating some of its older flagships, even from 2016, like the Mate9 series.

HarmonyOS 2 has new features like Super Service Widgets that bring added functionality to standard widgets. Users will be able to perform certain tasks using only an application widget instead of opening the application itself.

There is also a Control Center that facilitates access and control of all connected devices, and a Task Center that allows you to move tasks between devices, such as from a tablet to a phone and vice versa.

Other features include a new font with adjustable thickness, the inter-device clipboard feature, and multi-camera mixing that allows images from nearby device cameras to be combined when recording video to provide different angles.

Huawei claims that HarmonyOS 2 is secure and has obtained EAL 4+ security certification.
